Piano Lessons With Mr. Lewis
Abby and I started taking piano lessons last week. We had one today and I learned Jolly old St. Nicholas and merrily we roll. I know they sound lame but they're actually very cool to learn. Next week we are going to start learning to play and read the notes on the graph. Mr Lewis is our old music teacher from Sumpter Elementary and he was willing to give us piano lessons after school once a week. Go Mr. Lewis!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Learning piano is awesome !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Learning piano is super awesome!!! I have always wanted to take lessons. Do you guys have something to practice on at home? How long are your lessons?

Dad just got us a keyboard and it is going to come tomorrow. Mr. Lewis got me a recitle book ( although we are not doing a recitle ) and we have to practice until we memorize it. Each of our lessons are a half an hour long. While Abby is having her lesson I get to read and we take turns going first. It's pretty fun.

ReplyDeleteWhen I was in second and third grade I took accordion lessons and also leared merrily we roll along. I loved that song!!!! I am so happy you and Abby are taking piano lessons!!! I love you!!
