Owen and Graham's Birthday Party

Yesterday Owen and Graham had a birthday party at The Bouldering Gym. ( I don't really know what it's called) We climbed rock walls, ate pizza, and had an awesome time for Owen and Graham's birthday.

Las Vegas Weekend Trip

Hey everybody!!!!! Just an update, the Holt family has been busy traveling!!!!! We stayed two awesome days at our cousins house in Northern Las Vegas and went to a museum, walked Fremont Street (at night!!!), and played in the pool. Then, we stayed one night at Excalibur, walked along the Strip, going in the M&M's store, Hard Rock Cafe, Aria Casino and Resort,  New York New York, and MGM, and fell asleep to the sounds of thunder on the 27th floor. It was a great new experience, and I can't wait to spend time with family and enjoy the last few weeks of summer vacation in California. 

 

Rock Climbing

At the Kroc Center, after we swam we went and did the rock wall. It was so cool! We had to put on a harness and then they attached it to a rope. The rope was connected to a round thing up at the top of the rock wall ; it worked like a pulley. I climbed up to the top of level 1 and level 2. I almost finished level 3 too. It was so fun!!!!!!!!!!!

Piano Lessons With Mr. Lewis

Abby and I started taking piano lessons last week. We had one today and I learned Jolly old St. Nicholas and merrily we roll. I know they sound lame but they're actually very cool to learn. Next week we are going to start learning to play and read the notes on the graph. Mr Lewis is our old music teacher from Sumpter Elementary and he was willing to give us piano lessons after school once a week. Go Mr. Lewis!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Learning piano is awesome !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Enchiladas

Today I made enchiladas. Mom helped me but I did most of it. It is one of my Favorite Dinners !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

St Patty's Potato Party

JUDSON 6TH GRADE CHOIR

We got our choir pics yesterday!!!!! If you can't tell who is me, I am on the bottom row [:-)], second person from the right. I want to give a lot of thanks to our director, David Loney. He is a very good teacher, especially considering that he DOES direct five different choirs every day, including us. So, this is the Judson 6th grade choir, 2012-2013.

Lily and Alice, Our Gerbils

In January we got two gerbils. The light brown one is Abby's. Her name is Alice. Mine is the black one and her name is Lily. Alice likes to eat sunflower seeds and Lily likes the corn. Lily and Alice are both good at burrowing in the fluff that we put in and like to keep us up at night. Before we go to bed we move their cage into the office. But sometimes they're up when we get home from school though, so after we do our homework we get out the wheel cars that Grandma Ilene got us and they run around in the living room. Gerbils are so cool!!!!!!

TEETH

I, Sadie Holt, officially pulled out my first tooth on February 18, 2013. I know what your thinking. "She hasn't lost a tooth before?" Well, I'm here to tell you that I HAVE lost a tooth before. 8, to be exact. This one, my 9th, is the only one that I, specifically ME, have pulled out. I'm to much of a wimp to pull the others out my self, so the job fell to mom and dad. I bet they LOVED that.

Anyway, the other picture that you see here is something mom found on Pintrest, and I thought it was kinda interesting/gross at the same time. It shows where your adult teeth are before they push the baby ones out. My question is, though, what happens to the spaces where the teeth were after they come out? Does the skin just grow back into the spot, or is there constantly a huge hole in your chin and/or by your nose? I have no clue.

Valentines Day !!!!!

Happy Valentine's Day!!!!!!! I made a valentines box for all of my valentine's. We also made valentine cookies. Yummy!!!!!!!!!

Semester grades came yesterday!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am so excited!!!!! A 4.0!!!!!! I get to be on the honor roll!!!!!!!And all A's!!!!!! Woooooohoooooo!!!!!!!!! Well, my goal for 2nd semester is all O's, all A's and STILL a 4.0. I hope I can make it…
